All exceptional managers – “manacoaches” – exhibit some leadership tendencies, such as focus, determination, and a sense of mission. Although you have the ability to accomplish tasks on your own, you either are, or have the potential to be, most effective as a manager. So if you are currently in a management position—great! Continue to grow by prioritizing the needs of others ahead of your own, coaching rather than doing, and having the courage to define expectations and initiate tough conversations.
It is important that you keep your leadership tendencies in check. Use your leadership attributes to inspire your team, but be careful not to lead the team in a direction that is unaligned with the company vision.
If you are currently in a leadership role (leading the company or working as a subject matter / technical expert), consider if it is the right fit for you. Because you are motivated to meet objectives, you may be feeling like you need to do it all on your own and unclear on what is and is not your responsibility. You likely see opportunities to leverage resources and implement procedures to become more efficient; however, your position may be limiting execution of these improvements. You may want to pursue a management position and continue building on your strengths in order to realize your potential.
If you are considering entering the business world, you are well-suited to a management position. You are capable of becoming a subject matter / technical expert and ‘doing’ the work yourself; however, your efforts are more valuable in effectively managing and leveraging team efforts.

*Please note that a short assessment such as this is simply a “snapshot” providing you with a ballpark-finding based upon patterns in your responses. There are no assessments based upon 10–12 questions that can earn a substantially high reliability score, and results will be further skewed if the candidate does not have a high level of self-awareness.
